Some under ice views from beautiful lake Saarijärvi in Vaala, Finland
Just came across this video on YouTube and I felt the sudden urge to share it with everyone I know. The video was shot by some ice divers up in Finland and was very well done! Check it out…
10/26/2011 – Dylan is officially walking on his own!!
That’s right folks, you heard it here first… Dylan is officially walking on his own! His balance still needs a little tweaking, but for the most part I think we’re ready to send him out into the wild! Just kidding, but he is doing very well and we’re very proud of his progress to this point. Next bench mark… potty training!!
Dylan is finally starting to get his ‘move’ on! Yep, he’s learning to trust his balance and starting to take some unassisted steps. At this rate he should be walking on his own by the end of the month! Although, I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or not, but it will surely help with my sore shoulder.
9/28/2011 – Dylan walking between Julie and Stephanie in Bermuda
Everyone knows that boating brings out the best in people… it’s a well known fact! But every once in a while, when you’re out on the water enjoying the company of good friends, the combination of sun, fun, beer and music gets the better of us… and when that happens, we all hope that someone has a video camera handy to capture the moment. Thanks Charlie for sharing… this was truly a priceless moment of the summer!
Okay, I know you’ve all been waiting patiently for me to finish editing the videos from our Easter vacation to Florida, so finally, here it is… our official ’Dylan in West Palm’ video montage. I have to thank my brother for the video editing software he got for me this past Christmas… it really works well and makes the editing process for large format HD videos so much easier!
Here are a couple more cute videos of Dylan using his new found mobility skills to try and explore more of his great big new world. I have a feeling he’s going to be just like his dad… an escape artist!
It seems like forever since I’ve posted any good video’s of Dylan, but now that he’s finally crawling the thrill of trying to capture his classic moments has become much more interesting. His mobility factor went up about 150% with his new found skills and so has his curiosity level making him a very eager little explorer. He is also a very vocal little man which is good at times… at least we know when he’s moving from room to room!
This weekend, Dylan decided to dump the army crawl thing and pop up on his hands and knees to show us that he is ready to explore the rest of the house. I think he was just waiting for me to get off my ass and put up the baby gates!
This is a video clip showing the new TotalOne hockey skates from Bauer in slow motion. The players are pro’s and the skates at the same level. I just picked up a set of TotalOne 100′s which are a level down from the pro skates, but perform just as nicely!
Being such a huge hockey fan and enthusiast I just couldn’t help but post these two videos. The first one shows Pavel Datsyuk of the Detroit Red Wings playing a one-on-one game of keep away with one of the reporters from FSN in Detroit. This guy is pretty good, but he’s no match for Pavel! The second video feathers a former Detroit Red Wing, Alex Kovalev, as he skates circles around three other players and never gives up the puck… not even once! Nice stick handling skills…!!
