“Dylan enjoying the kid’s craft fair at the Club House” – Harbour Ridge Country Club, Palm City, FL.

Another winter has past and as spring is just around the corner we find ourselves back in sunny Florida for Easter break. We love our little Easter getaway to see Julie’s family in West Palm and after the long snowy winter everyone is looking forward to a little R&R and a lot of warm sunshine. Dylan’s favorite part of the trip is always Grandparents Weekend at the Club and the kids carnival on Saturday night. My favorite part is the all-you-can-eat Sunday Brunch at the Country Club! Oh, and the Bloody Mary’s aren’t bad either! Dylan and I hope you enjoy the photos… until next time!

“Dylan’s newly remodeled bedroom with the ‘Paw Patrol’ theme” – Arlington, VA.

This year as a birthday present for Dylan’s sixth birthday, I decided to remodel the spare bedroom, which is slightly larger than Dylan’s current room, and move him in there. I also changed it up a little to give it more of a school age look rather than the preschool look it had before. There was also a theme change as Dylan decided that he had out grown the ‘Cars’ Lighting McQueen bed and was now into the ‘Paw Patrol’ thing! The project did require the purchase of a new mattress, but it was so worth it. My little boy is growing up so fast!

“Dylan and friends running the obstacle course at Dynamic Gymnastics” – Arlington, VA.

Here are the pictures from our son’s 6th birthday party, held this year at Dynamic Gymnastics in Arlington. This years theme, which just happens to be his new favorite Sunday morning cartoon series, was ‘Paw Patrol’! We had a great turn out of kids this year. There were several of his friends from the neighborhood and almost his entire kindergarten class also showed up to help celebrate. It was truly a good day for all… Happy Birthday Dylan!!

“Dylan enjoying the warmth of the afternoon sunshine at the pool” – Tucker’s Point, Bermuda

Here is ¬†collection of pictures my wife and I have taken over the past year of our precious son Dylan. We post these mainly for our family and friends who can’t always be around to visit with us on a regular schedule. My mother says it’s nice to be able to just click on my site and see her grand son when ever she wants. It’s almost like being here… and as you can tell, Dylan has done some growing this past year. We all had a great year and look forward to another fantastic one in 2016!

Dylan ready and eager for his swim lesson to begin! – Arlington, VA.

We have been taking Dylan to swimming lessons at our local pool now for several years and it is really starting to pay off! He has so much more confidence when he is in the water and can now swim the entire length of the kids pool without touching the bottom. For parents who are avid and active scuba divers, this is a huge relief to know that he will one day want to join us under the ocean. He is now working on his free stroke and learning the back stroke.

Julie and Dylan in their matching ‘Sully’ costumes! – Arlington, VA.

Here is my collection of pictures from this years Halloween festivities. We started off the fun with the annual RS Halloween costume parade and classroom parties at Dylan’s school. Than Dylan decided to change costumes for the neighborhood evening trick-or-treating. I was even persuaded to join in the fun with one of Mikes favorite costumes… Scooby Doo!! The whole family had a ton of fun and my parents always enjoy spending time with Dylan and seeing all the neighborhood kids and their cute costumes.

Dylan’s School puts on a hot pizza lunch for all the fathers twice a year and the kids really love the idea of being able to have lunch with their dads! Dylan really looks forward to this event so I make sure I take time off work to attend. Here are a couple of photos I was able to snap off during the fun of the pizza party!

Dylan ready and looking forward to his first day of Kindergarten!

Today we celebrate Dylan’s first day of Kindergarten. It’s hard to believe that the summer is already over, but it’s even harder to believe that my little boy is growing up so fast and starting his first year of ‘school’! Time really does fly by as you get older… I wish we could slow it down to spend more time with the ones we love. We are so proud of Dylan and we look forward to all the fun and joy the future brings! Have a great year my son!!

Dylan And The Ducati

Dylan thinking he is big enough to ride uncle Mike’s Ducati…?!

Today my brother Mike rode his motorcycle over to the house to visit with us and hangout with Dylan for the afternoon. After watching Dylan climb up on Mike’s Ducati it accrued to me that he could not only reach the handle bars, but he could also reach the pegs with his feet. My little boy is getting bigger every day… I just hope he doesn’t ask for one of these for his birthday!
