Well we’re finally home and some what settled from our land-based Cayman dive trip. Despite the storms that hit the island just prior to our trip, the weather and diving conditions were much better than expected. I haven’t had a chance to look at all the pictures yet, but I think we came back with some really good ones! I’ll write up a full post about the trip later after I’ve had time to go through and edit all the photos.
This weekend will be spent doing the usual unpacking & cleaning of all our dive gear. As much as I hate having to clean it all up and put it away, I know it has to be done. I’ll also have to soak the camera housings and strobes in clean fresh water for several days to loosen all the sand & salt deposits. Sounds like a lot of fun, doesn’t it?!
Julie and I wanted to thank her sister Susan and her husband Jason for allowing us to stay with them while in Toronto for the ‘family retreat’ last month. We had such a great time and it’s always nice to hear that everyone is doing so well. We also really enjoyed being able to spend so much quality time with the kids. Because of the distance, Julie and I don’t normally get the see them very often and that makes trips like this one very special!
I’ve been asked to keep most of the pictures private since there almost all photos of the kids, but here are a few shots from our outing to an apple picking orchard. (View Photos, Videos & More»)
UPDATE: I have finally finished editing all of Alice and Carl’s wedding pictures from this past July. As I stated in my previous post, Carl has asked me to keep the pictures password protected for now so I’ll only post a few of the not so personal ones here. If you were at the wedding or have permission from the bride & groom, you can access the entire wedding photo collection and even purchase high quality professional prints from the gallery at Smugmug. Please note that this gallery is copyright protected.
WOW… I would have never believed it if I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes! Sports drinks really do work… and the’re not just for athletes any more either. Check out this video… it is simply amazing (and also better than any clinical study ever released!) Thanks for the link Mike!!
